What a SafeWatch assignment looks like
Focused Observation
Maintain continuous or scheduled visual observation, monitor for signs of agitation, distress, or unsafe activity, and document according to established procedures.
Calm, Person-Centered Support
Provide calm companionship and reassurance, use respectful redirection and approved de-escalation approaches, and treat every person with patience and dignity.
Clear Communication
Identify and report changes in behavior, promptly notify authorized staff when concerns arise, and follow assignment-specific instructions and facility protocols.
Screening & qualification.
SafeWatch uses a structured onboarding process to evaluate whether a professional meets the requirements for available assignments. Depending on role and location, this may include:

No. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, offer, engagement, assignment, minimum number of hours, or rate of compensation. Available opportunities depend on qualifications, client demand, location, and scheduling.
Am I an employee or an independent contractor?
Independent-contractor status, if applicable, is governed by a separate written agreement and applicable law. Nothing on this website creates an employment contract or alters the terms of an at-will relationship where permitted by law.
What if I need to cancel or can’t make a shift?
SafeWatch professionals are expected to follow established attendance and notification procedures. Repeated lateness, avoidable cancellations, failure to report, or leaving an assignment without authorization may result in corrective action or removal from future opportunities.
Can I work with more than one facility?
Yes — assignments depend on your availability, credentials, training, and facility requirements. Our team will work with you to identify opportunities that fit your preferred schedule and service area.
