Home / For Professionals
For professionals who observe with patience and judgment.
We seek dependable people who bring compassion, sound judgment, and respect to every assignment. Behavioral observation, redirection, and support are focused, nonclinical roles that help protect dignity while promoting safety.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, a specific pay rate, or placement on an assignment.

What you’ll do
SafeWatch professionals provide focused observation and behavioral support according to each facility’s protocols and the written assignment.
Stay attentive
Maintain continuous or scheduled visual observation and monitor for signs of distress, agitation, or unsafe activity.
Offer calm companionship
Provide reassurance and respectful engagement that helps a person feel safe and understood.
Redirect with respect
Use person-centered communication and approved de-escalation approaches when someone is confused or restless.
Recognize and report
Identify changes in behavior and share relevant observations with the care team.
Notify promptly
Alert authorized facility staff as soon as a concern arises and follow emergency procedures.
Document accurately
Record observations according to established procedures and assignment-specific instructions.
A nonclinical role. You may perform only the duties that are included in the assignment, allowed by your credentials, authorized by SafeWatch and the facility, and permitted by law. Unless expressly authorized in a written agreement and assigned to an appropriately credentialed professional, SafeWatch personnel do not assess medical conditions, administer medications, make clinical decisions, or change care plans.
