Focused observation support for your care team.
SafeWatch connects hospitals, senior living communities, behavioral health organizations, and other care providers with trained observation and behavioral support professionals through a technology-enabled workforce platform built around safety, responsiveness, and person-centered care.
SafeWatch does not replace your clinical team. We add another layer of focused attention when additional observation is needed.
Built around what care teams and administrators need.
Compassion and safety come first. Operations matter too—so SafeWatch is designed for visibility and accountability from request to documentation.

Patient Safety
Dedicated observation for individuals requiring focused attention.

Helps nursing teams avoid tying up core staff in prolonged 1:1 observation assignments.

How SafeWatch works
From request to documentation, each assignment moves through a clear, accountable process.
Request Coverage
Facilities submit observation requirements, dates, hours, qualifications, and location.
Intelligent Matching
The SafeWatch platform identifies available professionals whose qualifications, training, and availability align with the assignment.
Credential Verification
Required credentials, screening, training, and assignment requirements are verified.
Digital Confirmation
The facility and professional receive assignment information and expectations.
SafeWatch Support
The professional provides focused observation and behavioral support according to facility protocols.
Documentation & Oversight
Attendance, observations, incidents, and service information are documented through approved SafeWatch processes.
The professional confirmed for the assignment follows your emergency procedures and notifies the appropriate facility staff when a concern arises.
What SafeWatch professionals do
Focused observation and behavioral support, based on your policies, care plans, and directions. Responsibilities for each assignment are established before services begin.
Behavioral Observation, Redirection & Support
Attentive observation, calm companionship, respectful redirection and approved de-escalation techniques for individuals experiencing confusion, agitation, restlessness or distress—with changes and concerns promptly communicated to the clinical care team.
Fall & Elopement Risk Support
Focused observation for individuals identified as being at increased risk of falls, wandering or elopement, with prompt communication of unsafe activity to appropriate facility personnel.
Not nursing or medical care. SafeWatch professionals do not replace nurses, certified nursing assistants, physicians, therapists, or other members of the clinical care team. Unless expressly authorized in a written agreement and assigned to an appropriately credentialed professional, they do not assess medical conditions, administer medications, make clinical decisions, or change care plans.

Working with SafeWatch
How quickly can a request be filled?
SafeWatch makes reasonable efforts to respond promptly and locate an appropriately qualified professional. Timing depends on location, date and shift hours, required credentials, assignment complexity, your onboarding requirements, available professionals, and how much notice is provided.
Advance requests give the best opportunity for successful placement. Urgent or short-notice requests may be considered, but immediate coverage cannot be guaranteed. An assignment is not filled until SafeWatch provides confirmation.
Can we request a specific professional?
You may identify a preferred professional, and SafeWatch will consider that request when scheduling future coverage. The requested person may not always be available or qualified for every assignment. SafeWatch determines assignment eligibility and may offer another qualified individual for your consideration.
How are schedules, cancellations, and replacements handled?
Submit scheduling changes and cancellations as early as possible using the approved SafeWatch communication process. Cancellation deadlines and any applicable charges are explained in your client service agreement.
If the confirmed professional becomes unavailable, SafeWatch will make reasonable efforts to identify an appropriate replacement and notify you. Replacement coverage cannot be guaranteed, particularly for last-minute absences, highly specialized assignments, severe weather, emergencies, or limited geographic coverage.
How are time worked and billing verified?
SafeWatch may use approved electronic records, facility-verified timesheets, supervisor confirmation, or another authorized method to document arrival, departure, breaks, and total time worked. Please review submitted time records and promptly report discrepancies.
Invoices follow the rates, minimum hours, overtime and holiday provisions, cancellation terms, and payment schedule in your client service agreement.
What happens if there is a safety concern or emergency?
SafeWatch professionals follow your emergency procedures and immediately notify the appropriate nurse, supervisor, administrator, security professional, or emergency responder. They remain attentive, summon assistance, communicate relevant observations, and complete required documentation—without exceeding their authorized responsibilities or making clinical decisions.
In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or activate your facility’s emergency-response system. The SafeWatch website and general contact channels must not be used to report an active emergency.
